Anchor

The Anchor is a fixed infrastructure device in the HSafe Real-Time Location System (RTLS).

  • Receives UWB signals from Tags
  • Calculates real-time positioning
  • Transmits data to the Server via Wi-Fi / 4G
  • Serves as the positioning infrastructure on construction sites
Anchor Structure

Product Overview

HSafe Anchors feature a robust design optimized for harsh construction environments. The housing is made of die-cast aluminum alloy or high-grade industrial plastic with an electrostatic powder-coated surface for corrosion resistance.

  • Compact size (indoor model) or more rugged (outdoor model)
  • Integrated UWB antennas — omnidirectional or directional depending on the model
  • Clear connection ports: Ethernet (PoE), DC power, external antenna (if applicable)
  • Easy-to-view status LEDs (Power, Network, UWB)

Installation Guide

1. Recommended Installation Locations
  • Install at elevated positions (2.5m – 5m above ground) for clear line-of-sight with HSafe helmets/tags.
  • Distribute Anchors evenly around the monitoring area — avoid placing them in a straight line.
  • Vary the mounting height between Anchors to improve Z-axis (height) accuracy.
  • Avoid placing near large metal surfaces, heavy vibrating machinery, or strong electromagnetic interference sources.
2. Physical Installation
  • Use the included mounting bracket to securely fix the Anchor to walls, poles, or ceilings with screws.
  • Mount the Anchor vertically (antenna facing downward or as recommended by the model).
  • Connect the Ethernet cable (PoE) or DC 12V power supply.
  • Power on and check the status LEDs.

Configuration Guide

Connect the Anchor via Ethernet (PoE) or WiFi/4G. The Anchor will automatically obtain an IP address (DHCP) or use a static IP.

Access the HSafe Server admin interface → Devices → Add New Anchor → Enter MAC address and physical coordinates (X, Y, Z) of the Anchor.

Use the calibration tool on the Server to accurately determine Anchor positions. Test UWB connectivity by moving an HSafe helmet/tag within the area and checking real-time location data.
